Community Eye Screening
Dr Jeffrey Minkovitz will once again participate in the Delaware Academy of Ophthalmology sponsored annual free eye screening.
Along with colleagues and fellow executive board members from the Delaware Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr Minkovitz will be screening for a number of serious sight threatening conditions. This year's event, to be held at the Henrietta Johnson Medical Center, hopes to once again reach a large segment of Wilmington's population which may not have had access to preventive eye care.
Representatives from the Wilmington Hospital Ophthalmology clinic, where Dr Minkovitz and his colleagues also volunteer every month, will be on hand to arrange follow up for those who do not have insurance coverage.
