EPS Tech Presents Lecture at Galena Lions Club

Karen Lawton, Ophthalmology Tech at Eye Physicians and Surgeons, P.A. (EPS) gave a presentation to the Lions Club in Galena, Maryland about Macular Degeneration and the latest treatment options.  She was invited to make this presentation by one of our patients, James Pileggi.  There were 25 people in attendance.

The Galena Lions Club hosts a bike race every summer:  Ride to See.  They do vision screenings for preschool and elementary age children every year.  EPS applauds their efforts.

The Lions Club International has a known interest in eyesight.  In fact, they have a partnership with SEE International and a quote on their website is "Restoring Sight / Transforming Lives".  Many of us donate our used eyeglasses to the Lions Clubs and there is a collection container in the waiting room at EPS.
